 Hey lovelies! One of my favorite things to do when I crave sweets and carbs is make brownies.  Ingredients: 2 cups granulated sugar 4 eggs 1 cup (stick) of melted or browned butter 2/3 cup cocoa powder 3/4 cup all purpose flour Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients first then add wet ingredients. Pour into 9x9 pan bake for about 33-38 min. Enjoy! Yours in chaos Calix😘

 Hey lovelies I'm not going to go super deep into this topic, mostly because it's genuinely very upsetting to me.  For a little context one of my little sisters just found out she's pregnant, and I agreed to help her brainstorm different things to help her raise the baby. I've been thinking a lot about different things on my own, I personally don't have kids nor do I want any, but one of my biggest concerns is education or lack thereof. The hard truth of the matter is that the system is failing these kids, but so are the parents everything isn't on the teachers. I will say I have focused my mind mostly on reading because it's something I really really enjoy. It has come to my attention and my shock to find out schools no longer teach phonics, I don't remember the specifics for why they decided this or when.  Hey lovelies today's topic is ✨what is my academic plan/goal✨.  Now before last week had you asked what I wanted I would have shrugged my shoulders and had no idea, luckily for me I had breakfast with my dad and brother. My brother brought up my love for history and asked if I wanted to teach maybe, I responded with the fact that it would have to be college I would teach but that it was something I had considered. Then both of them preceded to tell me that to do that I would need a PHD and that was a lot  of work so I should just do something that didn't require one. Now I know they didn't mean it in a "they don't think I'm smart or good enough to get one kind of way but my brain immediately perked up and said " Oh? You don't think I can get my PHD? watch me!". Hey lovelies one of my favorite self care things to do is a witchy everything shower, and you may be asking yourself  "Calix what makes an everything shower witchy?". The answer is a LOT simpler than you think, it all comes down to ✨ intention ✨...  So to start off  I usually do these showers on a Friday which is Venus day I then pick a incense to burn my favorites to use are jasmine and honey comb, and a dark cherry after picking that I go to the bathroom and light 3 candles one for in the shower and one for each side of the sink. Before you light anything your next step is to get a cool drink and a snack I usually get a glass of my favorite wine and some strawberries. Now that we have everything and the water is warm light your incense and candles put on your glamour playlist and turn off the light. The next step is to wash your face and put a face mask on, being in the shower with the steam will open your pores and help your skin absorb the serum. Now double shampoo, l...

Hey this is Calix (pronounced Kay-lix) I'm 22 and a Pisces this is my first blog so we will figure it out together! Some of my interests are reading, baking, watercolor painting, history deep dives, sewing, hiking, thrifting, and antiquating.
